Obituary Wilma Jean Brooks age 74 of Pennington Gap, VA was born Friday, June 15, 1945 in Lee County, VA and passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Big Stone Gap, VA. She was preceded in death by three sons Jeffrey Pleasant, Clinton Brooks and James Edwards, her parents William Curtis and Iona Mae Pleasant, a niece Carolyn Jones and several nephews. Wilma is survived by her husband Curtis Brooks of the home, a son Curtis Brooks of the home, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, two brothers William Jr. Pleasant of Big Stone Gap, VA and Clayton Ray Pleasant of Woodway, VA, three sisters Bobbie Mullins of Pennington Gap, VA, Mary Eldridge of Sparta, NC and Shirley Hopkins of Pennington Gap, VA. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until time of service. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, July 1, 2019 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA with Rev.
