Obituary June 9th 1970 to September 23rd 2022 Willis (Bub) Dwayne Greer, age 52, of the Monarch Community in St. Charles, passed away Friday, September 23rd 2022 peacefully at his residence. He is survived by his two sons Justin D. Greer of St. Charles Va. and Nicholas J. Greer of Keokee Va., and by his girlfriend and companion Crystal Webb of St. Charles Va. He was a protective grandfather over his two grandchildren Landon Deirth and Julieona Greer. Bub is also survived by one sister Michelle Greer of Pennington Gap Va. and one brother George Greer of Pennington Gap Va. He had several adored nieces, nephews, and surrogate grandchildren he held very close to his heart. He is preceded in death by his father and mother Willis (Jody) Greer, Janice Greer, and by his infant brother Jackie Wayne Greer. Bub was always ready to assist a friend when needed. He will be missed and remembered for his kind and humble demeanor. His sense of humor was unmatched as was his kind words. He will be best remembered for the love he had for his boys and grandchildren, whom he loved with his whole heart and was so very proud of. He will live on in our hearts and memories forever; gone but never forgotten. Bub wished to be cremated and the family will be holding a celebration of life @ Darbyville Baptist Church 828 Kemmer Gem Rd, St. Charles Va. on October 28th from 4pm to 7pm.
