William Gerard "Bill" Sinon, age 81, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024 at his home in the Beech Grove Community, Jonesville, Virginia. He was born August 6, 1942 in Portland, Oregon to William Sinon and Alberta Fae Holland Sinon who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his step mother, Barbara Bush Sinon; and brothers Raymond Terry Sinon, Michael Jules Sinon, and Douglas Bruce Sinon.

William "Bill" is survived by his wife of 57 years, Augusta Faye Combs Sinon of the home; brother, Patrick Albert Sinon of Valdosta, Georgia; three sister-in-laws; and several nieces and nephews.

Bill served several years in the United States Army, including two tours in Vietnam, and was discharged in 1977 with a rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7). He graduated from Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) in 1979 and worked at various places while living in the Caylor Community, Ewing, Virginia. He and Augusta moved to her childhood homeplace in 2009 where they remained.

William will be buried at Mountain Home VA Cemetery in Mountain Home, Tennessee. The service will be private.
