William Gollahon age 83 of the Campground Road Community in Jonesville, VA was born Monday, April 17, 1933 in Mulberry Gap, TN and passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. He had worked in a sawmill, loved to farm, work on vehicles and his favorites were Chevy, Buick and Pontiac. He was preceded in death by his wife Lorene Gollahon, parents Harvey and Kitty Gollahon, sisters Betty Kollaja, Judy Smith and brothers Joe, Ray and Rex Gollahon. William is survived by his daughters Shirley Kay Gollahon of the home, Reba Faye Harber and husband, Rob of the Hubbard Springs Community and a brother Morris Gollahon of Tazewell, TN. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Province Funeral Home in Jonesville, VA with Roy Webb officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM Saturday until the time of the service. A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Gollahon Family Cemetery on Campground Rd. in Jonesville. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:00 PM Sunday to go to the cemetery.
