Wilburn Junior Hale, Jr. 49, of Pennington Gap went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 20, 2024.

Wilburn was born on July 8, 1974 in Pennington Gap. He worked as a block mason for many years. He was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather, cousin, uncle, and friend.

Wilburn is preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Johnson Hale; sister, Teresa Hale; grandparents, Walter and Ola Johnson, and Harry and Flossie Hale.

Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Wilburn Hale Sr; daughters, Kristyn Daley and Samantha Hale; brothers, Jerry Hale and Ronnie Hale; sister, Lynn Skidmore and husband Jimmy; one grandson; one granddaughter; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Paul Davis, Jr. officiating.

A committal service will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
