Wilburn (Will) Lynn Baker, 70, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at his home in Jonesville, Virginia surrounded by his family.

Will was a devoted Christian of the Baptist faith. He was an avid Harley and motorcycle rider. During his working days, he was a coal miner for many years and was also an excellent carpenter. Will was a member of the Woodway Ruritan Club. He loved his family and friends and will be deeply missed by many.

Will was born on April 4, 1954 to the late Claude and Gladys Baker in Duffield, Virginia. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Junior and Venson Baker.

Those left to cherish his memory is his spouse of 21 years, Lena; son, Travis Baker; two daughters, Robin Dunn (Shannon) and Roxanna Baker; stepdaughter, Jessica Hayworth (Drew); aunts, Molly Calton, Sally McDavid, Martha Bowen, Ruth Vaughn, and Jean Bowen; grandchildren, Matthew Baker (Cassie), Zachary Bowen, Emily Bowen, Camden Hayworth, and Thomas Dunn; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other family.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Paul Davis Jr., officiating.

A committal service will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens with Travis Baker, Matthew Baker, Drew Hayworth, Cam Hayworth, Tim Baker, Greg Baker, Landry Baker, and Shannon Dunn serving as pallbearers.

Following the committal service, there will be a meal provided by the Woodway Ruritan Club at the building in Woodway. The family invites everyone to come and eat.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Jones Family Services or the Woodway Ruritan Club.
