Waymon L. Berry, 54. of St. Charles passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Lee County Community Hospital.

Waymon was born on November 28, 1968 in Frederick, MD to the late Jack and Shirley Haynes Berry.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Jackie Berry, brother in-law, Larry Paul Jessee; and step-daughter Heather Jessee.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lisa Jessee of the home; daughter, Crystal Berry of Lee County, VA; brother, Jamie Berry and wife Patti of Ben Hur, VA; sisters, Belinda Berry of St. Charles, VA, Marisa Russell and husband Emmett of Bristol, VA, Sheila Jessee of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Mona Mowery and husband Kenny of Wallins, KY; granddaughters, Kendralynn West, Jadelynn Oquinn, Macie Oquinn, and Kashlee Thompson; five step-grandchildren Madison Stamey and husband, Cody, Alex, Alie, Chance and Julia Jessee, one step-great granddaughter Oaklynn Stamey; step-son, Barry Jessee and wife, Sarah of LaFollette, TN; sister in-law, Cecilia Berry; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow with pastor Paul Davis, Jr. officiating.
