Wanda Alice Martin Blevins, 51, of Atkins, Virginia and formerly of Pennington Gap went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Johnston Memorial Hospital.

Wanda was born on February 4, 1972 in Dayton, Ohio. Wanda was an LPN for several years until her retirement. A member of the Lee County Garden Club. Had attended St Charles Church of God.

Wanda is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Stolearm and Mary Hicks Anderson; paternal grandparents, James Arnold and Mary King Martin.

Those left to cherish her memory are the love of her life her daughter, Alesia Jean Wells; parents, Verlin Roy Martin, Sr and Violet Jean Anderson Martin; brothers, Verlin Roy Martin, Jr and wife Mary, David Allen Martin and wife Shannon; husband, Shon Blevins; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with pastor Roy Webb officiating.

A committal service will follow at Cecil-Fry Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
