Wanda Sue Catron was born on July 9, 1944 in St. Charles, VA to Acie and Kitty Barnett. She passed peacefully on June 13, 2026, surrounded by her children.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Acie and Kitty Barnett; her sister, Faye; her husband, Harvey J. Catron; daughter, Wanda Hearn; granddaughter, Leia Laningham; and great grandson, Zayden Taylor.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Helen Taylor, Diane (Lorenzo) Catron, Debbra (Jeff) Taylor; son, Matthew (Jenny) Catron; brother, Robert (Alice) Barnett; her best friend/sister, Diana (Rick) Scott; great grandson, Connor Lawson; 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Per her wishes there will be no formal services.
Wanda Sue Catron and her family are in the care of Jones-Pennington Gap Funeral Home.
