Obituary Walter Brock, 99 of Ewing, Virginia, went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Abingdon Health and Rehab, Abingdon, Virginia. A lifelong resident of Lee County, Virginia, he was a farmer and of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Pridemore and Randy Pridemore; mother and father, Sarah and Finley Brock; two sisters, Lucy Dillman and Charlcie Collins; five brothers, Harley Brock, Robert Brock, John Brock, Willie Brock and Charlie Brock. Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Leona Pridemore Brock, daughters in law Linda Pridemore and Jeanette Pridemore; grandchildren, Jacob Pridemore, Michael Pridemore and wife, Shannon, Michelle Rock and husband, Jacob, Bob Pridemore and Girlfriend Ashley Cox. Great grandchildren, Amber Pridemore, Hunter Pridemore, Kenny Rock and Addison Rock; two sisters, Nannie Southern and Mary Palmer; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Abingdon Health and Rehab for their compassionate care. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 18, 2022. A funeral will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday with Pastor David Gibson officiating.
