Vivian Bledsoe Wheatley age 72 of Dungannon, VA was born Monday, April 9, 1945 in Norwich, England and passed away suddenly Thursday, September 28, 2017 at her sons home in Pennington Gap, VA. Vivian had worked for 38 years as a Day Support Counselor for Frontier Health. She loved working for the Special Olympics and in 2012 she was the Southwest Special Olympics Volunteer of the year, she also attended the Carvosso United Methodist Church in Abingdon, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Peggy Woliver, brother-in-law Sam Combs and her special bulldog Lady J. Vivian is survived by her husband Ronald H. Wheatley of Dungannon, VA, her children Lisa Rutherford and husband, Donald of Pennington Gap, VA, Donna Breeding and husband, Bill of Cedar Bluff, VA, Teresa Robbins of Jonesville, VA and David Bledsoe and wife, Jessica of Pennington Gap, VA, step-children Sabra Donihe and Tammy Hensley, four grandchildrenVictoria McGlothlin and husband, Kevin Cedar Bluff, VA, Catherine Smith and husband, Kevin of Bristol, TN, Samantha Mosko and husband, Jimmy of Jonesville, VA and Caitlin Robbins of Jonesville, VA, great-grandchildren Rozalynn Breeding, Jamison Smith, Vivian Raylee Mosko and her four legged grandkids. She is also survived by her brother Archie Woliver of Pennington Gap, VA, three sisters Wanda Combs of Jonesville, VA, Beverly Ringley of Jonesville, VA, Pam Seals and husband, Billy of Pennington Gap, VA, several nieces, nephews and many special friends. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with Bill Breeding officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM Saturday until the time of the service. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Sunday at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 AM Sunday to go to the cemetery. Donation can be made to the Special Olympics.
