Vivian G. Mullins age 98 of Hot Springs, AR was born Tuesday, April 15, 1919 in Lee County, VA and passed away Friday, April 21, 2017 in Hot Springs. She had been a homemaker and a cook at a school cafeteria for a short time. She had lived in Ohio and Florida before moving to Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl M. Mullins, son Herman L. Mullins, daughter Janice Scantland, her parents Burley and Jennie (Holmes) Parsons and one brother. Vivian is survived by one son Pete Mullins and wife, Terrie of Fairborn, OH, daughter-in-law Bobbe Mullins of Pennington Gap, VA, grandchildren Vanessa Edger and husband, Jim of Hot Springs, AR, Carol Meverden of Bakersfield, CA, Jodi Luntz and husband, Mike of Oviteo, Fl, Kristi Wells and husband, Guy of Palmer, AK, Shawn Mullins and wife, Ashley of Knoxville, TN and Diane Daubert of Dayton, OH, also several great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 2, 2017 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with Paul Benfield officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon Tuesday until the time of the service. Burial will follow at the Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, VA.
