Virginia S. Cowan, age 74, of Harrogate, TN, formally of Loyall, KY passed away Saturday afternoon, February 8, 2025 while at the Tri-State Health & Rehabilitation after an illness.

She was born December 12, 1950 in Harlan County, KY a daughter of the late Lemuel and Lucinda Ball Cowan.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Brothers: Joe and Orville Cowan.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews, cousins and other family members including special friends: Joanna Daniels and Trenna Cornett both of Loyall, KY and Clarence Gaw of Rosspoint, KY along with her friends and the staff of Tri State in Harrogate, TN

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 12 noon until 1PM at Powell Valley Funeral Home. The Funeral will follow with Pastor Steve Neff officiating. Burial will follow at the Brooks Cemetery, Cowan Mill Road, Ewing, VA.
