Obituary Violet Rose Robbins age 70 of the Cane Creek Community in Pennington Gap, VA was born in Kemmer Gem, VA on September 4, 1951 and passed away February 11, 2022 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. She had been a homemaker and a member of Greater Outreach Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband Amos Ray Robbins, parents Roy and Juanita Rose, step-father Larry Burton, brothers Elmer Lee, Earl Eugene and JC Rose, sisters Carrie Flanary and Geraldine Cowan, step-daughters Vonda Leon, and Connie Swetish. Violet is survived by her three sons Sam Rose of Pennington Gap, VA, Larry Dingus of Jonesville, VA and Josh Holman of Pennington Gap, VA, one step-daughter Freda Caudill of Big Stone Gap, VA, grandchildren Chelsea Huff and husband Jordan, Haley Rose, and their mother Amanda Rose, Keisha Bolden, Avree McQueen, Ian Holman, Brena and Xander Dingus, several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother Jerry Rose of Indiana, two sisters Sara Jane Gibson of Pennington Gap, VA and Iline Huff of Dryden, VA. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA with Pastor Roy Webb officiating.
