Obituary Vernell (Nell) Harber, age 80, of Pennington Gap, Virginia was born in St. Charles, Virginia, on February 13, 1942, and passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 in Woodway, VA. Nell was preceded in death by her parents Armps and Kathleen Miles, her son Wesley Harber, and brother Denver Miles. Vernell is survived by her children Lisa Scalf and husband, James, of Woodway, VA, Lori Villaneuva and husband, Rick, of Vacaville, CA, Terry Harber and wife, Sonya, of Lynchburg, VA, and Vicki Harber and husband, Tim Tabor, of Keokee, VA. Vernell also leaves behind her grandchildren, Jamie Crumley, Leslie Province, Jordan Harber, Cory Harber, TJ Tabor, Lyndon Villaneuva, Logan Villaneuva, Lucas Villanueva, Brandon Muse, Shawna Muse, Kristi Wright, Dylan Harber, and Tia Evans, and her great-grandchildren, Madilyn, Alexander, Isabella, Gabriella, Wes, and Addyleigh. Vernell is survived by her siblings Ken Miles, Shelby Miles and Arlene Vanzant, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Vernell spent her retirement years with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, working jigsaw and word search puzzles, watching true crime documentaries, and she rarely missed an episode of Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy.
