Velma Jean Fee Rhoton, age 73, of Blackwater, VA was born in Harlan, KY on Monday, November 10, 1941 and went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Ridgecrest Manor in Duffield, VA. She had been a resident of Blackwater and previously of the Flatwoods Community and Jonesville. She was also a member of the Flag Pond Community Church in Blackwater, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Anna Spurlock; her first husband, James C. Fee; second husband, Oscar Rhoton and one son, James Michael Fee. She is survived by three sons, Greg Fee of Flatwoods, VA; Jeff Fee of Union, OH and Arnold Fee and wife Wilma of Jonesville, VA; three grandchildren, Heather Fee, Jaime Fee and Judd Fee; three sisters, Faye Saylor of lebanon, OH; Betty Frazier Bowen of Flatwoods, VA; Sue Short of Rose Hill, VA; also several nieces, nephews and her baby dog, Little Bit. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Jonesville, VA with Rev. Dewayne Barnette officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until time of services Wednesday. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the Fee Cemetery in Rose Hill, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the Funeral home at 10:00 A.M. Thursday to go to the cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. We are located at 29521 Wilderness Rd.
