Vass Junior Brewer, 65, of Pennington went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at his residence.

Vass was born on April 25, 1958 in Salem, Indiana to the late W D and Barbara Delph Brewer. He was the proud owner of Brewer Logging company and owned and operated it for many years alongside his family. Vass was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Sara Lynn Brewer; brothers, James Brewer, Hack Brewer, and Dee Brewer.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Joshua Brewer and fiance Brittany, and Tyler Brewer and wife Makenzie; daughter, Lindse Collins and husband Cody; grandchildren, Jack Collins, Lincoln Brewer, Karmyn Brewer, Kaden, Angel, and Alexis; brothers, Donald Brewer and wife Jill, Doug Brewer, and Hobart Brewer; sisters, Sue Brown, Marie McDermott, and Ruth Mills and husband Buddy; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with pastor Bill Posey officiating.
