Obituary Tracy Lynn Garrett, age 45 of Rose Hill, VA was born in Big Stone Gap, VA on Friday, July 20, 1973 and departed this life on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Tracy was a homemaker and attended the Mount Olive Christian Church in Rose Hill, VA. She was preceded in death by her dad, Arville R. Cole; her grandfather, Ed Woodard and grandmother, Sandy Woodard and one uncle, John Woodard. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Green Garrett, of the home; her mother, Jeaneen A. Cole Riggs and husband Jim; one son, Justin Garrett of Ewing, VA and two daughters, Jena Gibson of Middlesboro, KY and Beth Garrett and Louie of Greenville, TN; three grandchildren, Gabriel Earl Gibson, Garrett Lee Gibson and Grayson Green Gibson; two sisters, Melissa Blevins and Scotty of Tazewell, TN and Angela Dawn Cole, formerly of Rose Hill, VA.; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and a host of many friends. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Saylor-Garrett Cemetery on Balls Chapel Rd. in Rose Hill, VA, with Bro. Jim Myers officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:45 PM for the service.
