Tony Young, age 53 of Dryden, VA, was born in Dryden on Tuesday, March 12, 1963, and passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at his home. He was retired as the owner of Lee Propane in Pennington Gap, VA. Tony loved outdoor activities, enjoyed sports, loved going to casinos, and being with family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Young, and his mother, Edna Young. He is survived by two sons, Matthew Young and wife Rheagan of Pennington Gap, VA, and Rex Young of Chapel Hill, NC; one daughter, Jaclyn Young Silvers of Dryden, VA; one granddaughter, Lacey Silvers of Dryden, VA; one brother, Greg Young of Pennington Gap, VA; one brother-in-law Tony Gibson and wife Christy of Big Stone Gap, VA; and one sister-in-law Natalie Bishop and husband Robert of Kingsport, TN. He also is survived by a special friend, Glen Phillips and wife Shirley of Pennington Gap, VA, and close friends, Gene Estep and Dennis Wells, both of Dryden, VA. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday, June 13, 2016, in the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA, with Pastor Pete Perdue officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. Monday until time of services. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at the Powell Valley cemetery in Dryden, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:30 A.M.
