Obituary Tina M. Turner, 51, of Maynardville, Tennessee formerly of Pennington Gap passed away at her home April 14, 2023 on her birthday. Tina was born on April 14, 1972 in Indianapolis, IN to Clyde and Doris Turner. Tina is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Doris Turner; brothers, Scotty and Michael Turner; grandparents, Millard and Pearlie Turner and Buster and Jean Mullins. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Chris Turner of Knoxville, TN and Jimmy Allen Stapleton (Kaitlyn Kinser) of Maynardville, TN; grandson, Wyatt Turner of Knoxville, TN; sister, Kathy Hall (Johnny) of New Tazewell, TN; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and a nephew. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Evangelist Steve Neff officiating. A committal service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Silver Leaf Baptist Church Cemetery with Evangelist Steve Neff officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend the committal service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:15 PM to go in procession. Arrangements are provided by Pennington Gap Funeral Home.
