Obituary Timothy 'Tim' Lynn Dye, age 57, of Pennington Gap, VA was born August 13, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio, and passed away August 31, 2019 in Kingsport, Tennessee. Tim worked for the town of Pennington Gap, VA for many years. He loved spending time with his family and friends and he also loved to go fishing. Timothy is preceded in death by his mother Sevline Sarver, his step-mother Gloria Dye and his brother Tim Johnson. He is survived by his wife Vonda Dye of the home; his son Jason Dye of Abingdon, VA; his father William 'Curly' Dye of Jefferson, TN; step-father Charles 'Chuck' Sarver of Pennington Gap, VA; four brothers Charles Chuck Johnson and wife Melissa of Pennington Gap, Steven Mark Johnson and wife Kim of Columbia, TN, Brandon Dye and wife Danielle of Kingsport, TN, Brian Sarver and wife Donna of Cleveland, OH; three sisters Cathy Hensley and husband Darrell of Jonesville, VA, Shannon Smith and husband Larry of Flatlick, KY, Dawn Sarver of Brookland, OH; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of extended family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 12 - 2 p.m. in the sanctuary of Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor Darrell Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA.
