Teddy Wayne Thacker, 71, of Big Stone Gap, VA, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Norton Community Hospital.

Teddy was born on May, 28, 1954 to the late Milford and Pearl Thacker. Teddy proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He loved his motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, David Allen Thacker.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Josh Thacker (Edan), Eric Thacker (Marie), Thomas Thacker, and Rodney Thacker (Beth); a sister, Patricia Robbins (Mike); brothers, Danny Thacker, Benny Thacker (Nancy), and Ray Thacker (Cyndi); as well as a host of grand kids, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Per his wishes, Teddy will be cremated with a memorial service at a later date.
