Obituary Tammie D. Brandenburg age 57 of Pennington Gap, VA was born Saturday, July 29, 1961 in Libertyville, IL and passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. She had been a manager with food service and of the Christian Faith. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her daughter Jessica Diangela Hill and her mother Lee Bloomer. Tammie is survived by her husband Roger E. Brandenburg of the home, her father Ralph Cheek of Woodway, VA, one son Justin Hill and wife, Ashley of Pennington Gap, VA, one step-daughter Ashley Doan and husband, Donald of Terre Haute, IN, two step-sons Ryan Brandenburg and wife, Jessica and Rusty Brandenburg all of Terre Haute, IN, mother-in-law Peggy Brandenburg of Terre Haute, IN, one brother Ed Cheek and Cindy Ericsson of Bristol, TN, two sisters Melinda Sage and husband, Brian of Stickleyville, VA, June Parsons of Woodway, VA, eight grandchildren and her fur babies Gracie, Buffy, Little Man and Phoebe. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA with Pastor Kyle Burnette officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Saturday until the time of the service.
