Obituary Sylvia Ellen Marcum age 84 of Jonesville, VA was born August 16, 1936 in Lee County, VA and passed away May 5, 2021 at Lonesome Pine Hospital in Pennington Gap, VA. She was preceded in death by her grandson Benji Marcum, parents Franklin and Media Young, sisters Minerva Young, Dorothy Nelson and one brother Frank Glen Young. Sylvia is survived by two sons Troy Marcum of Rose Hill, VA, and Trayhand Marcum and wife, Anna of Jonesville, VA, one daughter Janice Carroll and husband, David Lee of Ocoonita, VA, five grandchildren Travis Marcum, Jessie Marcum, T.J. Carroll, Samuel Marcum and Amanda Ellen Marcum. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00 PM Monday, May 10, 2021 at Province Funeral Home in Jonesville, VA . A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Monday at the funeral home with George Flanary officiating. Burial will follow at Ewing-Chambers Cemetery in Jonesville, VA.
