Susie Alice Herron age 98 of the Sigma Community of Keokee, VA was born in Keokee, VA on Monday, February 25, 1918 and passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Heritage Hall in Big Stone Gap, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Polly Herron, three brothers Abraham, Berlin and Jim Herron, four sisters Mae Lawson, Mary Boggs, Sally Herron and Mandy Smith Peters. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews. The family wishes to express a special thanks to the staff at Heritage Hall in Big Stone Gap, VA, Dr. Gary Williams and Debbie Collier. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 1:45 PM Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA with a graveside service to follow at the Sigma Cemetery in the Sigma Community of Keokee, VA with Brother Noah Lee Vernon officiating.
