Susan Marie Witt Jackson, 53, of Pennington Gap went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at her residence.

Susan was born on March 25, 1970 in Howell, Michigan to the late Charles and Vera Sue Quinley Marlow. Susan was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, William Jackson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Charles (Tawanna) Witt, Dakota (Parise) Witt, and Marcus (Fiance' Nevaeh); daughters, Takisha Coomer and Angel (Fiance' Marshall) Witt; grandchildren, Xzavier, Aubrielle, Adalee, Daniel, Brett, and one grandson due in January; brother, Wayne Marlow; sister, Treva Catron; step children, Tiffany Reeves, Shannon Charles, and Shawn Jackson; step grandchildren, Santana, Mary, Timothy, Haley, Avery, Brian, Conrad, Skylar, Alexis, Hailey, Ethan, Emma, and Jordan; special niece, Tish Middleton; special friends, Vicky and Tara; along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow with Dr. Charles Barrier officiating.

A committal service will follow at Pennington Memorial Cemetery with Charles Witt, Dakota Witt, Marcus Witt, Wayne Marlow, Timothy Edgar, and Billy Price serving as pallbearers.
