Stella Rose Carroll age 83 of Jonesville, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 4, 2026. Stella was avid gardener with a love for flowers, birds, dogs, and most of all her family. Stella would have said her kids and family were the most important things in her life.

Stella is preceded in death by her parents Mack and Mary Moore, her husband Herbert Carroll, son Paul Music, daughter RoseMary Hopkins, granddaughter Ashley Phillips, and several brothers and sisters.

Stella is survived by her daughters: Cathy Woods, and Tracy Phillips, sons: Marvin (Patricia) Music, Kevin (Barbara) Music, and an abundance of grandchildren, great- grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm. Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at the Moore Family Cemetery in Jonesville, Va with Rev. Paul Davis officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from friends and family. A private viewing for immediate family will be held at Powell Valley Funeral Home in Jonesville, Virginia
