Stacy "Lynn" Slemp passed away on December 15, 2024 at her home. Lynn accepted Jesus as her Savior during her childhood at Calvary Baptist Church in Pennington Gap where she and her family attended faithfully. Lynn's happiest times in her life were spent with her grandson, Jaxon. She was a devoted and loving grandmother.

Lynn was born May 19, 1968 to Bascom and Glenice Slemp. Lynn grew up in Ben Hur surrounded by a loving family. She graduated from Pennington High School in 1986 and obtained a nursing degree from the Lee County Vocational School.

Lynn is survived by her devoted partner for many years, Adam Tritt; her son, Jessee Lynn Short and his father Junior Short; one grandson, Jaxon Short and his mother, Kayla Seals and his siblings, Kaydence and Jayden; her sister, Stephanie Fee and husband Lynn; nephew, Aaron Fee and fiancé Parker; niece, Rachel Shuler and husband Max and their daughter Julia; and cousin and close friend, Harold Hartley.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will follow with Pastor Tommy Ely.
