Sherry Lynn Collins, 61, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at her home in Big Stone Gap, Virginia.

Sherry was born on November 21, 1964, to the late Millard and Charmie Gilliam.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Jean Collier; a brother, Randle Gilliam.

Those left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Lee Collins; son, Josh Patterson; sister, Trena Sturgill; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Meredith Family Cemetery at 1:00 pm. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 11:45 am to go in procession.
