Sherri S. Province age 61 of Dryden, VA, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Johnson City Medical Center after a brief illness. Sherri had worked in the family business (Province Funeral Home) most all of her life. She enjoyed NASCAR and watching Survivor.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Charlie Province.

Sherri is survived by her companion James McPherson, her mom Nancy Province, her beloved dogs Scooby and Dryden, her brother Jim Province (Phyllis), Harold and Terry Province, two nieces Lindsay McCurry (Josh) and Morgan Province, two great-nephews Rylie and Dylan McCurry, special friends Patti Berry, Renee Mullins, Wanda Williams, Vickie Woodard, and Darlene Napier.

A private graveside service will be held at Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, VA with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating.

Sherri Province and family are in the care of Pennington Gap Funeral Home.
