Obituary Sharon Joann Lawson Sharon worked for Lee County for 31 plus years, she was the sole accounting employee and was also in charge of the Lee County Benefits Program. She was of the Apostolic Faith. Sharon was constantly furthering her education and training, with so may we can not list them all. She enjoyed spending every moment with her grandchildren and family. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles Gould and Christina Jackson, one son Richard D. Cope, one grandson Jarrid Cope and one sister Brenda Sue DuMont. Sharon is survived by her husband Garry Lawson, one daughter Yvonne Boggs, one son Edward Lawson, grandchildren Hope Lawson, Whitney Morgan and husband, Carmelo, Mikey Nelson, Collin Nelson, Eliana Nelson and Shaelan Boggs, great-grandchild Olivia Morgan. She is also survived by her nieces Suzzie, Olivia, Christina Weaver, step-mother Ruth Gould, two brothers Mark and David Gould and one sister Tammy Gould. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon Monday, March14, 2022 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be at 12:00 noon with Cliff Ely officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA.
