Sarepta Alice Large, age 77 of Pennington Gap, VA was born in Jonesville, VA on Friday, May 27, 1938 and passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Lee Health and Rehab Center in Pennington Gap, VA. She was a former CNA and she enjoyed her family, watching Peyton manning play football and watching nascar racing where Dale Jr. was her favorite. She also enjoyed church and was a member of the Fleenors Chapel Baptist Church in Jonesville, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Large; one son, Michael Large; her parents, Anderson and Mollie Fields; two brothers, George Sargent and D.H. Fields; two sisters, Lucille Ely and Virginia King. She is survived by one son, Mark Large of Pennington Gap, VA; one daughter, Melinda Bryson and husband Johnny of Pennington Gap, VA; one daughter-in-law, Tammy large (Michael); four granddaughters, Brandi Bundy, Ashley Large, Sierra Pass and Tessa Large; five great- grandchildren, Brynna, Brayden, Braylee, Haylee and Waylon; one brother, John Sargent of Dandridge, TN and three sisters, Lula Mae Ely of Kingsport, TN, Irene Gann of Dandridge, TN and Joyce Harrington of Indianapolis, IN; also several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 1, 2015 in the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap with Earnest Bledsoe officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:30 P.M. Monday until time of services. Burial will follow at Pennington Memorial Cemetery on Hwy. 421 in Penninton Gap, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Province Funeral Home of 42098 E.
