Sarah LeMarr age 74 of Rose Hill, VA was born Thursday, February 4, 1943 in Ewing, VA and passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. She was of the Baptist Faith and a homemaker. Sarah loved to cook and take care of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Edward LeMarr, parents Robert "Dick" and Ethel Carter, one sister Ostola Carter and one brother Chester Carter. Sarah is survived by her son Eddie LeMarr and wife, Betty of Rose Hill, VA and two grandsons Alex and Matthew LeMarr of Rose Hill, VA. She is also survived by her nieces Beelinda Carter of Monroe, MI, Donna Mullins of Panama City, FL, April Duvall of Monroe, MI, Lacie Bergmooser of Monroe, MI and Susan Daman of Monroe, MI, nephews Brian Daman of Monroe, MI, Scott Putman of Ypsilanti, MI, Tyrone Putman of Ypsilanti, MI, Michael Brock of Snellville, GA and special friends Jerry and Doris Hammonds of Jonesville, VA. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Jonesville, VA with Rev. Robert Charles Long officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM Thursday until the time of the service. A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Friday at the LeMarr Family Cemetery in Rose Hill, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 AM Friday for the service.
