Sandra Jean Yates, 61, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in Pennington Gap, Virginia.

Sandra was born on August 20, 1964, to the late Samuel and Lottie Norman.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Tony Yates.

Those left to cherish her memory is her son, Aaron Murphy; step son, Jason Yates; step daughter, Amanda Mullins; brother, Randy Norman (Susie); grandchildren, Ethan Massingale, Eli Murphy, and Andy Murphy; as well as many cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, Virginia. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 pm.
