Ryland Alexander Dotson (Baby Bean), gained his angel wings on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 1:05 AM at Bristol Regional Medical Center.

Preceding him in death are his maternal great grandparents, Daniel and Connie Morangello.

Ryland is survived by his mother, Amanda Rose Dotson; father, Jonathan Corey Dotson; paternal grandparents, Johnny and Rhonda Dotson of Clintwood, VA; maternal grandparents, Andrea Gilbert Napier and Charles Napier of Gate City, VA; great grandparents, Randy and Dee Napier of Woodway, VA, Darrell Dotson, Dana Dotson, and Nona Holliday all of Clintwood, VA, ; uncles, Jacob Pennington, Chad Dotson, and Austin Dotson; aunts, Hannah Gilbert, Kailynn Morangello, Gabby Morangello, and Sarah Hawthorn; cousin, Caspian Dotson; along with a host of extended family members.

A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Gate City UPC (1553 E Jackson St, Gate City, Virginia 24251) with pastor Mitch Salyer officiating.

A committal service will follow at 2:00 PM at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA (1986 Hickory Flats Rd, Pennington Gap, Virginia 24277) those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery.
