Obituary Ruby Lee Moore age 82 of Pennington Gap, VA was born Saturday, April 17, 1937 in Pennington Gap and passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter "Buck" Moore, an infant son Richard Anthony Moore, grandsons Chris and David Smith, her parents Olin Roscoe and Effie Lee Gibson and one brother Glen Gibson. Ruby is survived by one son Hershel Donald "Moe" Moore of Jonesville, VA, two daughters Belinda Hensley and husband, Danny of Jonesville, VA and Cindy Moore of Pennington Gap, VA, grandchildren Michael Alsup and wife, Shyrl Parsons of Martinsville, IN, Crystal Alsup of Pennington Gap, VA, Shawn Harris of Jonesville, VA, Rachel Hensley of Jonesville, VA, Jason Lewis of Indiana, Daniel Moore of Jonesville, VA, 17 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Admant Baptist Church on Route 421 in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday with Pastor Stan Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at the Cooper Cemetery on Puckets Creek.
