Obituary Roy C. Stanley age 86 of Pennington Gap, VA was born July 28, 1934 in the Woodway Community and passed away May 24, 2021 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. He enjoyed his friends, painting, working on his farm and all aspects of life. He had also been a painter for General Motors. He was preceded in death by his wife Faye Stanley, one son Bill Stanley, parents Will and Lillie Stanley, and brothers Gene and Ralph Stanley. Roy is survived by one son Greg Stanley and wife, Melinda of Kokomo, IN, four grandchildren Aaron Stanley, Ariel Glover and husband, Micah, Jared Stanley and Jessica Elkins, and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 AM Friday, May 28, 2021 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA.
