Rosemary Baldwin age 65 of the Hickory Flats Community of Woodway, VA was born Saturday, July 1, 1950 in Peoria, IL and passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. She had been a resident of Lee County most of her life. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Pennington Gap, VA and had been an award winning Avon sales person. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Ova Garrett, and her grandmother Rose Jr. Waddle, whom she was raised by. Rosemary is survived by her husband David Baldwin of the home, two sons David (Scooter) Baldwin, Jr. and Allison Stapleton of Woodway, VA, Matthew Baldwin of Woodway, VA and one grandchild Paisley Mae Stewart. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Don Baldwin and wife, Eula of Woodway, VA, nephew Michael Shane Baldwin and wife, Bridgette Renee of Kingsport, TN, niece Jacqueline Gibson, great-niece Leah Lashay Baldwin, several other nieces and nephews and special friends Shirley Freels of Nashville, TN and Kermit Freels of New Whiteland, IN. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with Rev. Bob Richards officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM Monday until the time of the service. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 AM Tuesday to go to the Cemetery.
