Rosa Lee Wheeler born Thursday, April 22, 1943 in Lee County, VA, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 in Danville, VA. She had retired as a unit secretary from the Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond, IN and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Jonesville, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband Noah P. Wheeler, her parents Albert and Margaret Rutledge. Brothers, Clyde, Roy, Charlie, Bruce, C.T., Herman, Edward (Bate), and Henry Rutledge. She is survived by her son, Rick and Bev Wheeler, of Aransas Pass, TX. Daughter, Helen (Pearson) and Hank Hanson of Danville, VA. Grandkids: Matthew and Emilee Wheeler of Kyle, TX, Charli Lindley and Corey Delgado of Tilden, TX, Kyle Wheeler of Abilene, TX, Joseph Srader of Blue Mound, TX, Mark Potter of Beaver Dam, WI, Krystal and Mike McNeil of Bell, FL and Timothy Kidder of Greensfork, IN. Great Grandkids: Jackson, Maycee and Campbell Wheeler of Kyle, TX, Alexis and Diego Delgado of Tilden, TX, Tristal Wheeler of Abilene, TX, Malachi Davis, Kainan McNeil and Alice McNeil of Bell, FL. She is also survived by two sisters Ora Jean Johnston, and Bernice Quinley both of Jonesville, VA, two sisters in law Patricia Rutledge of SC, and Jewell Rutledge of Phoenix City, AL. And a host of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Jonesville, VA with Bobby Haynes officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM Saturday until the time of the service. Burial will follow at the McConnell Chapel Cemetery on Sandy Ridge in Jonesville, VA.
