Ronald "Ronnie" Wayne Baxter, 70, of St. Charles, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at his residence.

Ronnie was born on November 19, 1953 in Louisville, Kentucky. Ronnie proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a jack of all trades and helped many people around with odd jobs from electrical to plumbing and carpentry. Ronnie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle and friend to many.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his father, John Baxter: sisters, Paula, Sherry, and Evie.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jeanette Baxter; mother, Betty Nolot; children, Tim Wilson, Erika Wilson, Emily Baxter, Ronald Baxter Jr, Jason Baxter, Travis Baxter, Joey Baxter, Dustin Baxter, and Leslie Adkins; brothers, Johnny Baxter and Charles Baxter; along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Paul Davis, Jr. officiating.

A committal service will follow at Pennington Memorial Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
