Roger Dale Riddle, aged 77, of Ecorse, Michigan, peacefully passed away on June 5, 2024. He was born on September 16, 1946, in Pennington Gap, Virginia.

Roger proudly served his country as a soldier during the Vietnam War and received several awards for his service, including The Purple Heart, The Bronze Star, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Republic Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was an active member of the V.F.W. Post #1136.

He is preceded in death by wife Linda Riddle, his parents, Emmitt and Mrytle Riddle, and many loving brothers.

Roger will be deeply missed by his children Shelley (Gary) Fults, Laura (Glenn) Parkinson, Scott (Sara) Parkinson, Tammy DeFrain, and Jackie Spino. He will also be remembered fondly by his grandchildren Tyler (Chloe), Colton, Keli (Gary), Ashley, Brittany, Keith, Sammy, Monica, Thomas, Jordan, Rachel (Jason), and Mitch, as well as his 10 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 14, 2024 from 11AM until 1PM at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. Graveside committal services with Pastor Steve Neff officiating will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens. Military rites will be provided by the VFW Post 5715-DAV

Roger's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
