Roger Dale Pauley age 68 of Jonesville, VA was born Sunday, May 15, 1949 in Rose Hill, VA and passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at his home. Roger had served our country for 10 years with the U.S. Marine Corps and another 10 years with the Army National Guard Honors Team. He was a member the D.A.V., V.F.W. , Shriners and the Masons. He was a retired U.S. Postal Employee and of the Protestant Faith. He was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Fannie Pauley. Roger is survived by his wife Nancy Pauley of the home, one son Jack Pauley and wife, Ronda of Bluefield, WV, two daughters Marie Sloce and husband, Mark of Ewing, VA, Michelle Taylor of Dryden, VA and a step-daughter Ashlee Middleton and husband, Steve of Big Stone Gap, VA. He is also survived by his grandchildren Selena Taylor, Bradlee Taylor, Chantel Sloce, Jacob Pauley, Anna Pauley, Elijah Pauley, Gabriel Pauley, Phillip Pauley, Xavier Middleton, one great-grandchild Mason Taylor and one sister Mary Flowers and husband, Charlie of Roanoke, VA. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Sunday at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A Masonic service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Funeral Home Sanctuary with Pastor Donnie Pickett officiating.
