Robert 'Bobby' Bledsoe age 57 of Big Stone Gap, VA and formerly of Dryden, VA, was born Saturday, January 25, 1958 and passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Heritage Hall in Big Stone Gap, VA. He had worked in a sawmill until becoming disabled. He loved the outdoors, fishing and basketball and was of the Baptist Belief. He was preceded in death by one son Christopher Bledsoe, parents Bascom and Geneva Bledsoe, sister Myrna Calton, brothers Roger and Jim Bledsoe and grandmother Etta Burton. Bobby is survived by his wife Annette Bledsoe of Bristol, TN, daughter Jennifer Lum and husband, Kenneth of Louann, AK, sons Michael Bledsoe and Robert Bledsoe both of Bristol, TN, Steven Middleton of Pennington Gap, VA and Frank Middleton of Utah. He is also survived by his grandchildren Sara-Beth Reedy, Isabelle Middleton, Abigail Faith Middleton, Jaina Middleton, Jonah Middleton, Brianna Bledsoe, brothers Ricky Bledsoe of Fredericksburg, VA, Bascom Bledsoe of Augusta, GA and sisters Elsie Middleton and husband, Donnie of Woodway, VA, Margie Garret of Pennington Gap, VA, Mary Vernon and husband, Willis of Ohio, Patricia Crisp, Helen Heart-Shorn both of Florida, several nieces and nephews and Mark Holland and Isaac Wyatt both of Jonesville, VA. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Thursday until the time of the service. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, May 14, 2015 with Rev. Stan Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at the Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, VA Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
