Robbie Wayne Laster, age, 74 of Lynn, IN and formaly of Lee County, VA was born on Tuesday, February 11, 1942 in Lee County, VA and passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at his home in Lynn, IN. He had retired from the Johnson Premdor Door factory after 38 years where he performed maintenance. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and painting. He always had free vegetables on the side of the road for any passerby. He was proceeded in death by his wife Betty Sue (Clark) Laster; parents Walter "Club" and Lizzie Laster; one brother Genis Laster and sisters Neva Jean, Shirley and Thelma Robinette. He is survived by one son Bill Laster and wife Jamie of Dryden, VA; two daughters Tammy Robertson and husband Scott of Centerville, IN and Connie Laster and companion Bill of Lynn, IN; grandsons Jason, Robbie, Robert Lee, Marlon and Ed; granddaughters Rachel, Cejay, Brittanie and Chassity; great-grandsons Jayce and Rhylee and great-granddaughter Raelyn; one brother James "Jim" Laster of Virginia Beach, VA; one sister Lindsay Arnold and husband Larry of Rural Retreat, VA. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM Saturday, September 3, 2016 in the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with Marlon Robertson officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM Saturday until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
