Obituary Rita Laura Minor age 75 passed away at her home in Pennington Gap, VA on February 18, 2022. Rita was the daughter of the late Floyd Leonard and Hazel Minor. She was born in Jonesville, VA. She was preceded in death by a sister Connie Elizabeth Butcher and a brother Daniel Lynn Minor. Survived by two sisters Norma Miles and Clara McNiel of Jonesville, VA. Two step sons Vincent and Brian Weston of Sneedville TN, one Aunt Ethel Morris Green of Rogersville TN, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 at McConnels Chapel Cemetery in Jonesville, VA with Pastor Larry Wolfe officiating.
