Richard "Dick" Crusenberry, of Pennington Gap, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on September 2, 2025.

Dick was born on December 6, 1946 in Pennington Gap, VA, to the late Ruben and Hazel Alsup Crusenberry. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Dick worked as a miner operator for 25 years, and on June 17, 1984, he was saved and dedicated his life to serving the Lord.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Roscoe, Willie, Lloyd, Jerry, Paul, Jimmy, and Hobert Crusenberry; and sisters, Barbara Jessee, Doris Haynes, and Alice Robbins.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 50 years, Margaret Crusenberry; his son, Rich Crusenberry (Jayson); daughters, Edwina Johnson, Ursula Ward (Charlie), and Brittany Hamman (Brandon); grandchildren, Dawson Ward (Wrenn), Riley Hamman, Alex Hamman, and Tiger Hamman; brother, Dallas Crusenberry; sister, Pauline Rogers (Mike); special cousins and friends, Roger and Greta Alsup; and a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Paul Davis Jr., officiating.

A committal service will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at Peaceful Garden Private Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
