Richard Lee Collins, 65, of Pennington Gap went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 7, 2023 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Richard was born on December 21, 1957 in Salt Lake City, Utah to the late James M.R. Collins and Narissa Paige Powell Collins. Richard had a love for motorcycles, his family, and his friends.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Libby Collins; brother, James Lee "Jim" Collins; Grandparents, Cecil and Nancy Powell.

Richard is survived by his wife, DeAnna Parker Collins; son, Richard Michael Smith; daughters, Narissa Mounts and Samantha M. Smith; brothers, David Collins and Scott Collins; grandchildren, Robin, Rebecca, Cole, Katie, Charlie, and Rahlynn; sisters, Felecia Harding, Tammy Slagle, Michelle Kroell, and Nancy Gregory; uncle, Ron Powell; along with several nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will follow with pastor Paul Davis Jr.
