Rebecca Sue Pleasant, 75, passed away on August 25, 2025 at Lee County Community Hospital.

Rebecca was born on October 26, 1949 to the late Burley and Ruby Harris in Lee County, Virginia.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Pleasant Sr.; a son, Edward Pleasant Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Melissa (Stephen) Sweeney; a son, William Pleasant; three brothers, Thomas, Kenneth, and Marion Harris; as well as a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; also a special thanks to Sheep and Donna Sweeney.

Rebecca will be cremated with no formal service.
