Rebbie Hale Carpenter, 84, of Pennington Gap went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Ridgecrest Nursing Home.

Rebbie was born on June 15, 1939 in Lee County, Virginia to the late Harry and Flosie Whitt Hale.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Earl Hale.

Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Wilburn Hale of Pennington Gap; sister, Judy Blondel of Indiana; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Paul Davis, Jr. officiating.

A committal service will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens, Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
