Raymond Ervin age 76 of Rose Hill, VA was born in Verda, KY on Saturday, January 4, 1941 and passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at his home. Raymond was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War. He had worked as a mechanic for General Motors in Pontiac, MI and was a member of the UAW. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Ada Ervin, brothers JB, Jack, Jerry, Larkin and Argene Ervin and one sister Sally Barnett. Raymond is survived by his wife of 40 years Pamela Collett Ervin of the home, two sons Jerry Ervin and wife, Carmen of Mammoth, AZ, and Jason Ervin and wife, Shannon of Atlanta, GA, one daughter Jennifer Ervin of Park City, UT. Raymond found joy with his five grandchildren Arianna, Alex, Huxley, Brooke and Meghan. Also, three brothers Delano Ervin of Corbin, KY, John Ervin and wife, Janet of Oxford, MI, George Ervin and wife, Lola of Columbia, TN and one sister Oppie Clark and husband, Hood of Romulus, MI.
